The national team of ski mountaineers from Germany as well as the national squad from Bavaria are in training camp at the Weerberg. So that they are really challenged, the "weerBERGauf" was created.
The main feature of this extraordinary event is the challenging ascent of 600 meters uphill, followed by a demanding descent of 250 meters. The participants will push their physical and mental limits and prove their fighting spirit. From Weerberg Dorf, the route goes up to the Hüttegg mountain station, and from there it is downhill to the valley station of the Hüttegg.
"weerBERGauf" is not only a challenging sporting event, but also a charitable event for the benefit of Kinderhilfe in the district of Schwaz. The community initiative is committed to the well-being of children and ensures that their needs and dreams do not go unnoticed.
The event also serves as a prelude to the "Tiroler Schneegaudi": at the valley station at the Hüttegglift, alternative winter sports such as ski touring, snowshoeing, tobogganing and winter hiking will be in the spotlight and will take place from January 19 to 21, 2024. Well-known exhibitors will show their latest winter sports equipment and taster tours in all sports will be offered every hour.
Since 02 November there is the possibility to register for participation in weerBERGauf. The principle "first come first serve" applies, so secure your starting place today!
Be there when professional ski mountaineers and enthusiastic amateurs fight for victory at the "weerBERGauf" and do good together. For more information and updates, check out the official event website and upcoming press releases.
We look forward to your participation and an exciting event!
