SHORT | 8km | 250Hm
After the starting area at the Rathauspark, the route runs along the Stadtallee to the Klause entrance and leads along a beautiful circular route via the 13er Weg uphill and back to the Klause. Passing the Breinmühle mill, the route takes a short climb to Deutschlandsberg Castle. There you can enjoy a wonderful view of the town of Deutschlandsberg and the Lassnitz valley. The last section of the route leads through the vineyard to the finish.
On this trail you can get a compact taste of trail running. The route is just as suitable for a faster pace as it is for a walking excursion.

MIDDLE | 23km | 1000Hm
After the starting area at the Rathauspark, the route runs along the Stadtallee to the Klausen entrance and leads along the 13er Weg up to the Waldbauer, past a game gate and on along the Sprenger and Schattseitenweg to Trahütten. Athletes run through a forest to the Parfusswirt, where they cross the former ski slope to reach the rear hermitage. On the old forest railroad, through tunnels and along spectacular single trails to the Scheidsberg, to the castle and back to the finish area.
The MIDDLE Trail is suitable for experienced and ambitious trail runners and is challenging due to the overall package in terms of route characteristics, altitude, length and orientation. At the same time, it is a very good opportunity for trail runners with little or no competition experience to take on a sporting challenge as part of an event.
- Start number distribution: from 09:00
- Briefing: 9:45am
- Start: 10:00 am
- Cut off Parfusswirt: 14.30

- Timekeeping via race number (GPS tracker optional)

LONG | 58km | 2660Hm
After the starting area at the Rathauspark, the route runs along the Stadtallee to the Klausen entrance and leads up the 13er Weg to the Waldbauer, past a game gate and on along the Sprenger and Schattseitenweg to Trahütten, then on to the Parfußwirt. In the distance, runners can see the wind turbines on the Handalm - the next intermediate destination. At the Handalm cross, between the wind turbines, the trail leads down to the Weinofenblick and the vineyards. Over the Moschkogel, the route runs over the Poms waterfall, through the Koralm cirque to the third, final and highest summit cross of the LONG Trail, at the Großer Speikkogel at 2139m. Past the Steineren Mandel, down via the Grünangerhütte, Glashütten along the Stullneggergraben, the trail continues almost steadily downhill to the climb up to the Wolfgangi church - probably one of the most beautiful vantage points in Western Styria. From there, the finish area is already within reach, or at least the athletes can already see it. The route leads through the forest and vineyards back to the finish line in the city center.
The LONG Trail is suitable for experienced trailers in ultra-distances who are looking for a challenge in partly high alpine terrain.
